Controls: Output Basic

The Output Basic control is one of the most versatile elements in eDesign, designed to display both static text and dynamic data. This control can either show a fixed value, such as a label or status message, or be connected to a variable from an established connection (e.g., a PLC or runtime environment) to display real-time, dynamic information.

Key Features:

Dynamic Data Display: Bind the Output Basic control to a variable (e.g., from a CODESYS structure or other fieldbus connections) to display real-time data such as engine temperature, oil pressure, or other sensor values directly on your HMI.

• Static Text Option:
  When dynamic data is not required, use the Output Basic control as a simple text area to display fixed content, labels, or status messages.

• Flexible Formatting:
  Customize the text style, size, color, and alignment to match your application’s design requirements. Whether you’re displaying real-time measurements or static labels, the Output Basic can adapt to any visual theme.

• Ease of Use:
  Quickly configure the control to bind to a variable or define static text through the eDesign web editor, making it simple to integrate dynamic content or fixed values into your HMI interface.
