Controls: Table

The Table control is a powerful element in your interface, allowing users to display data in a structured, tabular format. The content of the table is pre-defined in the "Table" section of the editor, and users can easily select from a dropdown menu to choose an existing table to display. This control is ideal for presenting data that needs to be viewed in rows and columns, such as machine statuses, production data, or any other structured information.

Key Features:

  • Pre-defined Table Selection:
The Table control does not require manual input of data within the editor. Instead, users can select from a dropdown of pre-existing tables that have been set up in the "Table" section of the editor. This ensures data consistency and simplifies the process of incorporating tables into your interface.

  • Dynamic Data Display:
Once a table is selected, the Table control automatically populates with the data from the chosen table, which can be linked to real-time information from connected devices or databases.

  • Flexible Data Organization:
The Table control allows for structured data display in rows and columns, making it perfect for organizing large datasets in a way that is easy to read and understand. Whether showing operational metrics or performance statistics, the Table control helps present information clearly.

  • No Direct Table Editing in the Editor:
As tables are pre-configured in the "Table" section of the editor, this control does not allow direct editing or creation of tables within the control itself. Users must first define and configure tables in the designated section before selecting them for display.

Use Cases:

  • Data Monitoring and Display:
Ideal for displaying operational data, sensor readings, or production metrics in an organized manner, allowing users to quickly interpret the data at a glance.

  • Real-Time Data Visualization:
Use the Table control to show real-time data coming from connected devices, such as PLCs or runtime environments, for applications like machine monitoring, diagnostics, or process control.

  • Reports and Analytics:
Perfect for applications that require structured reports or analytic data presentation, where information must be displayed in a clear and concise table format.
